The Bayswater Inn Hotel can be found just off of Queensway, less then 10 minutes from Queensway tube station and Bayswater tube station, allowing you to explore London from a new perspective that can only be seen from travelling the underground rail system. Guests can hop on the tube at the Bayswater station for 3 minutes and get off at the High Street Kensington station. You will exit out onto High Street Kensington, an area of London known for its architecture and shopping. Stroll along the busting high street towards Hyde Park, a 500 year old park found in the heart of London. The Royal Albert Hall is home to the 2nd largest pipe organ in the world. ‘The Voice of Jupiter’ as it is known consists of 9,999 pipes, weighting a whopping 150 tonnes.

The hall hosts more than 360 events a year, including classical music, jazz, world music, circus, rock, pop, opera, dance and comedy. This was not always the case, as Rock & Pop bands were banned in March 1972 due to their association with and past concerts resulting in vandalism, injuries, and destruction from ensuing riots at Rock & Pop concerts. The ban was soon overturned due to public outcry thankfully. Also, since 1941 The Royal Albert Hall has been host to the Proms concerts each summer.
The Royal Albert Hall is open to the public during the day through tours of the building, live music in Verdi, and free exhibitions, and is home to the Elgar Room, a state-of-the art small-scale performance space.
